NobleID for publishers and data providers

Resolve NobleIDs, find the NobleID of a work you hold, and register new works.

Store the ARK (ark:/48914/…): it is the identifier. Reading needs no account and no key.

Resolve a NobleID

Send readers to the work, or fetch its metadata.

The format is chosen by ?format= or the file extension, not by the Accept header. ?info after an ARK shows its record page.

Find the NobleID of a DOI

For records you already hold.

DOIs with no NobleID are left out of the answer. For an arXiv paper, look up its DOI, 10.48550/arXiv.<id>. For bulk use, contact us.
