A work's ARK
The link opens the work's NobleID page, which always shows its current version.

- It adds one link, "See the current version on NobleID", and nothing else.
- It does not check for updates or show a version status. Apart from loading its own script, it sends no request to NobleID. Readers see the current version and its version history on the work's page.
- The link text comes in the same languages as this site. The widget uses data-lang if it is set, then the page's language, then the reader's browser language, and otherwise English.
- The link opens in a new tab and tells screen readers so. It follows the reader's reduced-motion and high-contrast settings.
- If data-ark is missing or is not an ARK, the widget shows nothing. It does not look the ARK up, so every well-formed ARK gets a link. If NobleID holds no work at that ARK's path, the link opens a NobleID page that says the work was not found.
